- Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic safely around construction and maintenance zones using standardized hand signals and flagging equipment
- Ensure compliance with traffic control plans and all site safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with construction crews, motorists, and pedestrians to prevent accidents and maintain smooth traffic flow
- Monitor work zones for potential hazards and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately
- Coordinate with crews during paving operations and heavy equipment movement to maintain safe traffic patterns
- Maintaining safe and organized work zones throughout the project
- Previous experience as a Traffic Control Person / Flagger is required
- Valid Traffic Control / Flagger Certification preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Reliable transportation (asset)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High attention to safety and situational awareness
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Competitive pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
