OverviewWeâre seeking a Controller / Accounting Manager to lead full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a key division. This role partners closely with leadership to deliver critical insights that drive operational performance and growth. Based in Peel region with weekly travel to another site, youâll play a key role in shaping financial strategy and strengthening controls.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee monthly and quarterly financial statements and variance analysesMaintain general/subsidiary ledgers and ensure complianceLead budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparationEnsure ERP data accuracy (Oracle preferred)Manage tax filings and regulatory complianceStrengthen internal controls and reporting systemsSupervise and mentor a small accounting teamPartner cross-functionally with operations and leadershipQualificationsCPA designation (required)7â10 yearsâ progressive accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldStrong ERP and advanced Excel skillsLeadership experience with direct reportsValid Ontario G driverâs license and willingness to travel weeklyExperience in logistics, transportation, or resource recovery is an asset
