- Leading and implementing highly scalable, complex solutions.
- Quickly learning and integrating unfamiliar technologies, frameworks, and design patterns in fast-paced, agile teams.
- Applying strong analytical skills to develop and enhance features, frameworks, and troubleshoot issues.
- Defining database design standards and best practices.
- Conducting software design/code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
- Taking ownership of codebases, managing multiple tasks under pressure.
- Recommending product enhancements and contributing to team feature development.
- Communicating status updates and escalating issues when needed.
- MS in Computer Science (from a top CS program) with 5+ years of commercial product development, or BSCS with 7+ years.
- Strong lead Java developer with hands-on experience in API development (REST/SOAP), algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Willingness to learn new frameworks and technologies.
- DevOps knowledge with hands-on Kubernetes experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Eclipse (Visual Studio is a plus).
- Skilled in solving complex problems and server-side development (multi-threading, memory management, clustering, load balancing).
- RDBMS expertise with at least one: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, or DB2.
- Application server experience (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, or Oracle App Server) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with BI concepts, C++, Hadoop, Hive, or MongoDB is a plus.
