- Understand Canadian Codes and Standards and adapt in detailed engineering work
- Pipeline wall thickness calculations, Buoyancy control calculations and hydrotest calculations under guidance of a senior Pipeline Engineer
- Review pipeline drawings and markup
- Development of datasheets, lists, etc.
- Preparation of material requisitions for pipes, valves, fittings, flanges, bends, etc.
- Prepare Technical Bid evaluation from the vendor proposals.
- Originate engineering reports
- Review Vendor documents
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Eligibility for registration with APEGA as an Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Willing to learn and positive attitude to accept challenges
- Previous industrial or EPC experience in Canada or the United States (including internships or summer roles) is desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application
