General Attendant (Cook/Cashier)

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders, communicating effectively with kitchen staff, and serving meals in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floor.
• Assisting in food preparation tasks as needed, such as salad assembly or dessert plating.
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders and payments.
• Handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately and responsibly.
• Addressing customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines set by the restaurant and local health department.
• Assisting in opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
• Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service standards.
• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and allergen information to answer guest questions accurately.
• Supporting other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as hosting or bussing tables during peak hours.
• Promoting a positive dining experience by anticipating guest needs and providing personalized service.

• Ensures customers are attended to in a courteous and friendly manner and swift resolution is given to their issues/complaints
• Ensures sales entries are correctly entered and receipts are issued to customer
• Maintain excellent level of hygiene at all the time
• Must be knowledgeable about the company products
• Must possess suggestive selling skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
