As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the development of CIBC’s physical distribution strategies for both the Banking Centre & ATM networks, including size, distribution, capacity, and functionality for our clients and employees. You will be accountable for taking a leadership role to support these strategies through performing independent research on market trends, creating dynamic presentation decks, and collaborating cross-functionally with other internal teams to develop client-centric and cost-effective physical delivery solutions in support of CIBC’s business objectives.You’ll work closely with colleagues in the Network Analytics and Network Management teams to translate the physical distribution strategy into annual branch and ATM strategic plans for application to priority markets across Canada. On behalf of Personal & Business Banking, you will actively manage and govern a portfolio of network initiatives while ensuring strong alignment and support for distribution strategies in partnership with other internal stakeholders.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Develop the strategic vision for our Banking Centre and ATM networks while keeping the client journey and experience top of mind. Proactively conduct in-depth research to stay on top of market trends in Canada and around the world, bringing fresh ideas to the table on new formats, technology integration, and more. Construct compelling and convincing strategy decks. Articulate the strategic vision, client, and business benefits to provide recommendations and gather buy-in from senior and executive management.Business Acumen & Communication - Provide highly specialized advice and guidance to senior management and client groups within the area of Network Strategy & Planning. Participate in the business planning process that requires coordination, creativity and appreciation of the Personal & Business Banking objectives and strategic orientation, ensuring alignment with performance and targets. Monitor and assess the annual Branch and ATM reconfiguration program with responsibility to support modifications and improvements to the physical network to ensure project implementation meets revenue generation and cost savings goals.Partnership & Collaboration – Build a strong network of internal and external relationships that support the development of our physical network strategies. Develop successful business proposals with important input, support and buy-in from key partners both inside CIBC and out in the market. Understand and translate the banking center operating model into our branch planning and design.Who you areYou’re experienced. You’ve worked for a minimum of 3 years in a business environment, preferably in a dynamic and strategic research, development, and planning environment within retail, business or real estate. You have strong communication skills, excelling in creating effective PowerPoint decks and in delivering persuasive presentations to partners and senior leaders. A strong knowledge of Canadian retail and financial services markets is an asset.You have a degree/diploma in Economic Geography or Business Management. It’s an asset if you have experience with GIS.You're digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies.
