We are looking for a Shipper Receiver to join our growing team. Come kick-start your career with us today!
  • Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Starting rate is $24-$25 based on experience
Things you will do:
  • Inspect incoming materials to specifications outlined
  • Troubleshoot and resolve material discrepancies
  • Perform administrative duties related to inventory control including cycle-counting
  • Use equipment to handle materials such as pallet jacks, forklift etc.
  • Effectively deal with customer / supplier shipping requests and arrange couriers
  • Ensure goods are shipped in the most economical manner possible
  • Ensure goods shipped are properly packaged and made ready for transport
  • Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation
  • Manage inventory and shipping materials and supplies
What you have: * 1+ years of shipping experience required
  • Materials handling certification or equivalent work experience
  • Valid Forklift Certificate
  • Grade 12 or equivalent work experience
  • Familiar with:
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • Overhead Crane Use & Rigging of Cranes
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
