Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8AM-4:30PMJob Responsibilities:- Develop and execute procurement strategies, in support of all OMS locations, that minimizes the total landed cost of goods received.
- Review and optimize Economic Order Quantities and Ordering Cadences to minimize total ordering costs.
- Guide and support activities of the Purchasing team through the introduction of improved ordering processes.
- In collaboration with the Manufacturer Relations (MR) team, negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Execution of inventory replenishment activities based on purchasing advice reports.
- Provides support to inter-company flow of materials between warehouses.
- Provide escalation support to invoice discrepancies, returns, short shipments, outstanding purchase orders etc.
- Adherence to Company and Procurement policies and procedures.
- Other duties as requiredQualifications:- 5 years or more of experience as a buyer or purchasing agent.
- Professional Purchasing accreditation is considered a strong asset.
- Must be highly organized with an ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities.
- Good understanding of supply chain practices.
