Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Bilingual Manager, Human Resources will act as a strategic partner to corporate and operational leaders supporting a large, high-volume employee population of approximately 450+ employees within the Customer Care / Contact Centre environment, in addition to broader corporate client groups.This role operates within a multi-jurisdictional, employment-law-sensitive environment, including federally regulated and Quebec-based employees. You will support leadership across multiple levels of the organization, including:
  • Manager-level and below populations (~275 employees) within Customer Care
  • Director-level and above leaders across corporate functions
This role includes direct leadership of an HR Generalist, with the expectation to build capability within the team while maintaining strategic ownership of the portfolio.The mandate is to elevate HR from reactive support to proactive, strategic partnership, strengthening leadership capability, mitigating risk, guiding organizational design, and supporting workforce planning in a high-volume, fast-paced operational environment.What You Will Do
  • Provide dedicated HR partnership to Customer Care / Contact Centre leadership supporting 450+ employees, addressing high-volume workforce challenges
  • Coach and support front-line and mid-level leaders (Manager and below populations) on employee relations, performance management, and engagement
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Director-level and senior leadership, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives
  • Lead and develop a Human Resources Generalist, providing direction, coaching, and oversight on day-to-day HR matters and employee relations case management
  • Navigate complex, high-volume employee relations matters within a contact centre environment, ensuring consistency, fairness, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with leaders through periods of change, executive transition, and workforce realignment
  • Support performance management processes, including mid-year and year-end reviews (ADP platform)
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on offers, onboarding, headcount planning, and compensation alignment
  • Guide senior leaders through onboarding to ensure alignment with organizational structure, policies, and expectations
  • Participate in monthly operational reviews with leadership to align people priorities with business objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement through technology enablement, process optimization, and AI-forward thinking
What You Will Bring
  • 5+ years progressive HR experience, including business partnering and complex employee relations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • CPHR designation preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supporting high-volume workforce environments (e.g., contact centre, customer care, retail, or similar)
  • Proven ability to support large employee populations (300+ employees) with varying levels of leadership complexity
  • Experience managing or mentoring HR team members (Generalist or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, including Quebec and federally regulated environments
  • Ability to operate effectively across both operational (Manager-level and below) and strategic (Director+) stakeholder groups
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required

  • Flexible hybrid model, 2 days onsite preferred
  • A fully remote arrangement may be considered, for highly qualified candidates, based on experience, location (only in Ontario), and demonstrated ability to operate autonomously
