- Create high-quality mechanical design drawings in Revit and AutoCAD for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Perform heat loss/gain calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selection using tools like Trace 3D Plus, HAP, or eQuest.
- Ensure that every design meets the highest standards of quality and compliance with building codes and standards.
- Coordinate with internal engineers and external stakeholders to develop designs that integrate across disciplines.
- Balance your workload across multiple projects at any given time, ensuring that quality and deadlines are met.
- Participate in project meetings where your expertise helps shape design decisions and resolve challenges.
- Support responses for RFIs and design changes during construction, ensuring that the systems you design come to life seamlessly.
- Develop documentation for tender packages and support project delivery from concept through construction.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of templates, processes, and design standards to elevate the team’s technical capabilities.
- You produce accurate, coordinated mechanical system designs with minimal oversight.

- Minimum 3 years of experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and institutional buildings.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD—you’re comfortable developing detailed models and design documentation.
- Hands-on experience with design and modeling tools such as Trace 3D Plus, HAP, CAN-QUEST, or eQuest.
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
