Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products
Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment
Required to perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, and receiving, when not on deliveries
Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard
Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
Other duties as required

Qualifications

Requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights.
Fall Protection/Working at Heights training - an asset (can be provided)
Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided)
Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
Strong customer service skills

Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - PreferredPrevious experience as a General Laborer/Laborer - an assetPrevious experience as Warehouse Associate, Construction Helper, Manual Laborer would be beneficial * Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an assetAuthorized to work in CanadaBenefits of Employment: Roofmart recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
