Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with an established organization to recruit a Sponsorship & Partnership Coordinator . This role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys building relationships, developing sponsorship opportunities, and contributing to the success of large community events.Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and managing sponsorship partnerships across multiple events throughout the year. This position will focus on identifying potential sponsors, developing partnership opportunities, maintaining sponsor relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives that enhance event visibility and engagement.This role is well suited for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and creative marketing work and who thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential sponsors aligned with event audiences and community initiatives.
- Develop sponsorship packages, proposals, and presentations for potential partners.
- Conduct outreach to prospective sponsors and build new partnership opportunities.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing sponsors throughout the year.
- Coordinate sponsorship activations and ensure sponsor deliverables are fulfilled during events.
- Track sponsorship commitments, branding placements, and partnership benefits.
- Assist with marketing communications, newsletters, and promotional messaging.
- Support the development of event marketing materials, advertising content, and promotional assets.
- Create or coordinate visual marketing materials including posters, signage, and digital graphics.
- Assist with the coordination of marketing assets used for events and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal team members to support event marketing initiatives and sponsorship execution.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and currently located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience in marketing, sponsorship sales, event marketing, or partnership development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas professionally.
- Comfortable with outreach, networking, and relationship development with external partners.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience developing marketing or promotional materials.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred; familiarity with Canva or similar design tools considered an asset.
- Interest in events, community programming, or sponsorship-driven environments is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently in a small team environment and take initiative.
- This position may require additional work hours during the evening/weekends during peak season.
- Salary range of $50,000 – $60,000 , depending on experience.
