- Providing support to the First Cook, the Non-Journeyperson Cook will prepare and cook menu items as they are received in accordance with established menu specifications.
- Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning lists are completed.
- Ensure all food storage areas are organized and clean;
- Ensure food quality, food safety and service standards are met and maintained daily;
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company Safe Work Practices and Standard Operating Procedures;
- 2-3 years of culinary experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
- Experience with high volume baking is an asset.
- Alberta recognized Journeyperson Cook Certification is an asset.
- Food Safety certification valid in the province of Alberta for the duration of your employment is a requirement.
- Advance Food Safety is considered an asset.
- Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
