Brief Description:Our employer is a leading commercial overhead and garage door company committed to delivering top-quality service and products to our customers. They are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and support our field technicians. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, purchasing coordination, and technician support. This role requires a balance of operational leadership, vendor relationship management, and a willingness to learn the technical aspects of garage door parts and systems.Job Function:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and organization of inventory.
- Act as purchasing coordinator by maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring stock levels, and ordering parts when inventory is low.
- Support technicians each morning by ensuring all required parts are loaded onto trucks for daily jobs.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of garage door parts and equipment to better support technicians and company operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement best practices for warehouse efficiency.
- Be hands-on with physical work as needed (loading, unloading, organizing).
- Utilize technology and systems to streamline purchasing, inventory tracking, and communication.
Job Requirement:
- Previous warehouse management or operations experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable with technology, inventory systems, and vendor communications.
- Ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Willingness to learn garage door parts and industry knowledge.
- Physically able to handle warehouse tasks (lifting, moving, organizing).
- Operations-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills.
