Delivery Driver (Part time)

• Meet with shipping manager before setting out on each run to check load and go over orders and that all materials on Sales Orders are on the truck.
• Drive truck in safe manner following routing set out by shipping manager.
• Ensure loads are safe before setting out. All lifts on soft sided delivery vehicles must be strapped.
• Deliver material to jobsites and condominium docks.
• Material would mostly be carried into the main floor. There may be some exceptions that may occur for special circumstances as requested by the client, such as in the garage or if there is unique grading of the ground it could be into the basement.
• Other reasonable duties not listed in order to fulfil the role may be required.

• Do safety Check and fill in drivers log each day
• Take responsibility for keeping track of truck mileage and regular maintenance such as oil changes.
• Fluid levels for coolant and windshield washer to be logged on a regular basis.

• Must possess a valid G drivers license
• Previous delivery driver experience driving a cube van
• Clean drivers abstract
• Clear criminal background check
