Develop and execute syndication strategies, identifying and engaging with potential syndicate partners. Manage the "book-building" process, track lender interest, and provide strategic recommendations on allocation and pricing. Coordinate with the borrower, syndicate members, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and timely transaction closing process. Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field. 3-5 years of relevant experience in loan syndications, leveraged finance, corporate banking, or debt capital markets. Strong credit analysis and powerpoint skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and marketing materials. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. MBA, CFA, or other relevant professional designation is a strong asset. Experience covering specific industries relevant in Canada (e.g., Energy, Power & Utilities, Agribusiness). Experience with syndication software and platforms (e.g., SyndTrak, DebtDomain, Intralinks). A resume only goes so far in expressing who you are and the unique perspectives you bring.
