- Support site management on health and safety issues
- Establish and implement procedures to support the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management system.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the management system and implement modifications when required to reflect changing workplace conditions or comply with new legislation.
- Evaluate health and safety hazards and prepare written reports that include recommendations relating to control measures.
- Develop and maintain health and safety training programs.
- You hold a university degree in science or engineering with training in occupational health and safety or industrial hygiene.
- You have a minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- You have a thorough understanding of industrial work processes and legislation pertaining to occupational health and safety.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You can work well both in a team setting and independently.
- You have excellent computer skills.
