RBC roleTop 3 Required Skills: Ms-Access, VBA, SQL, Python scriptingWe are seeking a skilled MS Access Frontend Developer to design, develop, and maintain database applications using Microsoft Access. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VBA programming, SQL querying, and Python scripting to create efficient, user-friendly frontend solutions that integrate seamlessly with backend databases.Job Description:Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop MS Access frontend applications with intuitive user interfaces (forms, reports, and navigation).
  • Write and optimize VBA code to automate business processes, data validation, and application logic.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to retrieve, manipulate, and manage data.
  • Integrate MS Access applications with external data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and user-reported problems.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Document application architecture, code, and user guides for maintenance and training purposes.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Create and maintain Python scripts for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.
Qualifications
  • MS Access Proficiency in designing forms, reports, queries, and macros.
  • VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) Strong programming skills for automation and business logic implementation.
  • SQL Advanced knowledge of SQL querying, database design, normalization, and optimization.
  • Python Experience with Python for data manipulation, scripting, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational databases is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in Access applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with API integration and web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git) and DevOps tools
  • Experience in finance, healthcare, or enterprise environments is a plus.
