- Positions available include Scanners and Operators for both valley and learning area locations. You will be mainly Scanning or Operating Gondolas and Carpets
- Provide exceptional guest service by offering helpful information and assistance with a friendly attitude
- Validate lift tickets to ensure each guest has a valid product before boarding
- Collaborate with other teams to manage lift lines safely and load lifts efficiently
- Maintain and secure departmental equipment such as scanning devices
- Promptly escalate any issues to leadership, including safety concerns or ticketing problems
- Monitor passenger safety continuously while offering guidance during the loading and unloading on the Gondolas and Carpets
- Report any repair or maintenance needs to the alpine office dispatch proactively
- Partner with the Lift Maintenance team to understand proper operation procedures for Gondolas and Carpets in your zone
- Follow emergency protocols when necessary, including contacting Patrol
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Keep lift shacks and work areas clean and safe; remove trash as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
- May need to provide some of their own gear

- No experience is necessary, we train all lift operators (including returnees)
- Must be able to make quick decisions/use considerable judgment regarding safety as well as multitask and anticipate issues
- Must be physically capable of assisting guests while loading lifts; may lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to handle high guest volumes in a professional manner
- Must be willing to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of the assigned area, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends
