Their expert team of agronomists, certified crop advisors, researchers, equipment operators and customer service staff have built strong, long-term relationships with growers, with the focus of sharing their in-depth knowledge and extensive experience with crops in the region.On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting a Director/VP of Sales to join their team of dedicated professionals in New Annan, PEI.Reporting to the General Manager, the Director/VP of Sales will play a leadership role with responsibility to lead, develop and motivate sales agronomists and provide overall leadership to all locations and branches in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The Director/VP of Sales will also be responsible for executing organizational sales strategy and management of the sales operations.Responsibilities:
- Lead and engage a team of high-performing sales professionals and branch managers.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans.
- Develop and manage the sales team focusing on customer relationships, operational excellence, and growth.
- Responsible for all key performance indicators to help drive sales volume, customer service and profitability.
- Manage financial budgets and sales forecasting.
- Oversee and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Operate in a safe manner at all times, following company Safety & PPE protocols, while at the same time representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
- Perform other duties as required.
