The Project Manager will work with both the Clinical Services Team and Professional Practice, leading development and design of both operational and major clinical projects. The Project Manager will lead, schedule and plan project details, and will maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within the available resources.The Project Manager will support the execution of strategic and operational initiatives, including the development of strategic and annual plans, and related deliverables. This role will also be responsible for reporting on effective operating systems and methods to achieve both short-term plans and long-term objectives. A key function of the Project Manager will be to operationalize strategic initiatives within the clinical and medical affairs portfolios by applying analytical, research, project management, change management, and facilitation skills.Reporting to the Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Executive (CNE), the Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic solutions across diverse areas. Key responsibilities include; overseeing and managing the objectives of plans; facilitating key stakeholders accountable for objectives; developing action plans; monitoring implementation; and providing regular reports on outcomes, barriers, and recommendations to ensure the achievement of success metrics. The position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong project management skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-impact results.In this role, you will:

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business or Health Sciences (Clinical organization experience)
  • Master’s Degree, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience on mid-to-large-scale projects with demonstrated understanding of project management methods, tools and techniques
  • Prior experience in top-tier management consulting or similar strategy roles
  • Project experience in health care (preferably in Ontario)
  • Understanding of PROSCI change management framework
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or working towards this
  • Experience with the latest digital project management tools
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with team members at all levels
  • Ability to conduct effective briefings and presentations
  • Excellent conflict management, problem solving, facilitation, change management skills and sound judgment abilities
  • Ability to synthesize, structure, analyze and interpret performance data/ healthcare information
  • Demonstrated secondary research skills (using academic and grey literature sources)
  • Proactive and customer-focused work approach
  • Demonstrated understanding of budgets, scheduling, planning and business acumen.
  • High level of initiative and decisiveness with the ability to work effectively and meet competing deadlines
  • Self-starter, team player, willing to assist colleagues, can work with reasonable supervision and eager to go beyond
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio and SharePoint™ with advanced skills in MS Project™ and Project Server.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and physicians
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
