Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Senior Insurance Claims & Risk Analyst to join our Client's team on a short-term contract basis in Caledon, Ontario. In this role, you will provide specialized expertise in risk management, claims analysis, and insurance program administration.This contract position will support the organization for a period of 1-2 months, ensuring seamless operations while a team member is on leave.Please note, this role will require 3 days in Client's office in Caledon, ON.Responsibilities:
Offer expert guidance on risk management strategies to various departments within the organization.
Identify and assess potential risks, recommending effective mitigation and control measures.
Investigate claims thoroughly, gathering necessary evidence and collaborating with adjusters and insurers to resolve or settle claims efficiently.
Analyze claim trends and provide actionable recommendations to reduce the likelihood and severity of future incidents.
Oversee the administration of the organization's insurance programs, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Draft and review contract terms to minimize potential risks to the organization.
Interpret and evaluate insurance policies and documents to ensure adequate coverage and protection.
Assess legal liabilities related to claims, agreements, and other operational activities.
Deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate, courteous, and timely responses to inquiries and issues.
Requirements:
Certification in Canadian Risk Management (CRM) or Chartered Insurance designation (CIP) is considered an asset.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management, risk assessment, and insurance administration.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service that aligns with organizational standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions on complex issues affecting critical functions.
Proficiency in interpreting insurance documents and drafting contract terms to mitigate risks.
Familiarity with assessing legal liability in claims and contractual agreements.
