The Opportunity:Our client is a family-owned and operated Dental Service Organization with a thriving network of 50+ clinics across British Columbia. With no outside investors or corporate partners, every decision they make puts people first-not shareholders. As they continue to grow, they're looking to strengthen their HR capabilities with the addition of a People Analytics Analyst, based at their head office in the Greater Vancouver Area.This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven HR professional who thrives at the intersection of people and numbers. In this role, you'll blend traditional HR generalist responsibilities-like recruitment and employee relations-with hands-on people analytics work that directly supports strategic decision- making. If you enjoy diving into workforce data to uncover trends, drive improvements, and help shape a people-first culture, this role is for you.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design, track, and manage key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount trends, time-to-hire, engagement indicators).
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to uncover actionable insights on employee performance, experience, and engagement.
  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and compliance of HR data across all systems and platforms.
  • Partner with the HR leadership team to translate analytics into strategies that enhance workforce effectiveness and organizational performance.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to clearly communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to change management efforts by supporting data-informed decision-making.
  • Provide analysis on talent acquisition, retention, and engagement patterns to inform workforce planning.
  • Support HR operations across the full employee lifecycle-from recruitment and onboarding to performance reviews, employee relations, and offboarding.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, ideally within an HR or people-focused environment.
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn raw data into compelling insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with HRIS/ATS systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a strong asset.
  • Solid understanding of core HR metrics and KPIs, including turnover, cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, and engagement scores.
  • General knowledge of HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A problem-solving, people-first mindset-comfortable balancing the numbers with the human side of HR.
