I am seeking an Occasional Caretaker in my home. I am a working mom with evening shifts that can start between 2:15-3:30 pm occasionally. As such, I need a nanny who can provide care help for my two children during these times and stay until my partner is back from his job, which can range between 2:30-7:30 pm. The good news is that I am always able to share my work schedule months in advance, which will allow for better planning on your part. I have a 3 year old who stays at home and needs basic care along with a playmate. My 8 year old is quite independent. He attends school and will be tasked with getting home by himself either by riding his bike or taking the school bus. So, one of your responsibilities would include staying at home and waiting for him to arrive. We also have a large breed Berne-doodle in our family. She tends to be shy at first and might bark at you, but give it time, and I can assure you that she will warm up. You'd be tasked with occasional pet care, maybe a walk or two. Considering we lost our usual babysitter, my mom, this is new and somewhat difficult territory for us. Hence, I'm looking for a reliable, patient individual, someone who can be trusted with the care of my children, and who can help keep our house in order. Light housekeeping duties would be part of your role, but it's not a strict requirement. We're currently trying to declutter, so any help would be appreciated. Cooking and preparing meals for the kids would be part of the job as well if my partner is not home in time. The position is Part-Time live-out, with the working hours planned to be less than 20 hours a week across the weekday evenings. A driver's license is necessary as you will occasionally need to use your own car for this role. This role's preferred start date is 05.09.2025. If you think you are the right fit for this job, I'd love to hear from you! Thank you for considering my family's situation, and for the time, you are taking to apply.MoreSalary $18/hourLess than 20 hours/weekScheduleDesired start date Sep 5, 2025MorningAfternoonEveningOvernightMTWThFSaSuAge of the child(ren)Number of children in the family: 2Newborn1-2 years3-5 years6-9 yearsover 10 yearsNanny/Babysitter is responsible forCookingLight housekeepingPrepare meals for kidsBathe and dress childrenKeep the kitchen tidyWalk dog and/or pet careAdditional requirementsValid driver's licenseRequired to use own car Active: Today • Member since: August 2025Address
