Special Needs Babysitter - Evenings or Mornings Looking for a compassionate and patient babysitter for my young daughter with Down syndrome and autism. • Evening shifts: She'll be asleep - you're mainly there to keep her safe. • Morning shifts: She'll be awake and will need someone to play with her and read books (she loves books and may ask you to read 20 in a row!). She is non-verbal but communicates in her own unique way. Occasionally, when frustrated, she may pinch - we are working on this, but applicants must be comfortable handling it calmly.
