Effectuer la conception (CAO) de structures et de systèmes mécaniques. Ces activités d’ingénierie supportent des modifications d’aéronefs pour les essais de moteurs en vol.Environnement créatif dans le secteur expérimentale de l`aéronautique;Mentor disponible en tout temps (CATIA, conception, etc.);Conception de systèmes, de structures et d`assemblages (machinage / métal en feuille / Impression 3D);Département d`ingénierie situé sur la rive sud de Montréal;Visite guidée des avions situés à Mirabel.Analyse des contraintes (optionnelle):Si le stagiaire est intéressé et que le soutient est disponible; responsable d’effectuer les analyses de contraintes pour les systèmes ou les modifications structurales des installations des moteurs d’essais utilisant les outils NASTRAN et PATRAN (optionnel). If you are currently enrolled in a Canadian university, now is the moment to start a career path that can drive impact and innovation for generations to come.What your day to day will look like:Aerospace Design:Responsible for producing the design (CAD) of structure or systems related to engine test installations and aircraft modifications on the experimental PWC flying test bed aircrafts.Stimulating and creative aerospace experimental environment;Experienced Mentor available at all times (CATIA, Design, etc.);Design of experimental aircraft systems, structures and assemblies (machined part / sheet metal / additive manufacturing);Engineering department located on the Montreal-area south shore;Opportunity to visit and work at P&WC’s Mirabel Aerospace Center (MAC) including the hangars for experimental Boeing 747SPsStress Analysis (optional):If the intern is interested and the support is available; responsible for producing the stress analysis or integration of components and assemblies, including systems, which comprise engine test installations and aircraft modifications on the flying test bed aircraft. Tasks may include: Stress analysis (Hand calculation and FEM). Use of PATRAN and NASTRAN is optional. Loads generation.
