Avenir Energy is looking for a Propane Sales Representative to fuel our growth in in the Ajax and Belleville areas!As a Sales Rep, you’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth across both residential and commercial propane markets. If you're a self-starter with a proven sales track record and a knack for building long-lasting client relationships, we want to hear from you!What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive Business Growth: Focus on acquiring new residential and commercial propane clients while managing key accounts and increasing revenue in your territory.
- Hit Targets: Meet or exceed your sales targets for residential propane and HVAC services—boosting both volume and margin.
- New Business Development: Dedicate 80% of your time prospecting fresh opportunities in the residential and commercial propane segments while nurturing existing customer relationships with the remaining 20%.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with our operations and support teams to deliver tailored, top-notch solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Track and Analyze: Keep detailed records of your sales activities in our CRM and monitor performance metrics to stay on top of goals.
- Compliance and Safety: Stay informed about provincial propane regulations and adhere to our company’s safety standards.
- Travel: Be prepared for regular travel, including some overnight stays, as you manage your territory and meet clients face-to-face.
- Sales Experience: You have at least 3 years of relevant sales experience with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets. Marketing or commerce background??
- Strong Communicator: You have excellent communication skills (bilingual proficiency is a plus) and the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the propane or fuels industry is an advantage but not required—we value a results-oriented mindset above all else.
- Proactive & Driven: You have the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Customer-Centric: You’re focused on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Time Management Skills: You excel in managing multiple priorities, staying organized, and working both independently and as part of a team.
