- Drive branch sales growth and profitability by achieving targets while maintaining healthy margins.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and commercial clients.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and promotional opportunities.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team while promoting a professional, team-oriented culture.
- Provide staff training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and upselling strategies.
- Conduct daily check-ins, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching to ensure accountability.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and accurate stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with Inventory and Purchasing teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company standards, loss prevention, and theft control procedures.
- Manage branch administration including payroll, scheduling, budgets, and expense control.
- 3-5 years of management experience in the industrial sales.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of tools & industrial sales settings
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong history of impeccable customer service
- Ability to identify and develop business opportunities and establish a positive company profile within the local business community
- Previous history of building a team (hiring, coaching, mentoring)
