
Staff Verification Engineer

- Translate ambiguous test requests into clear, peer-reviewable technical specifications, including schedules, risk registers, and success metrics.
- Develop block diagrams, controlled-impedance schematics, and multi-board PCB layouts; lead design reviews and incorporate feedback in real time.
- Model mechanical components such as test fixtures and thermal hardware in SolidWorks; size heatsinks, fans, and safety interlocks for 24/7 unattended operation.
- Generate BOMs, panelization files, and Gerbers/ODB++; manage procurement, kitting, and contract manufacturer (CM) builds.
- Perform precision hand-soldering of micro-coax, 0201 passives, and BGA rework when needed.
- Monitor vendor schedules and escalate risks related to delivery, DPPM, or regulatory deadlines.
- Design and commission custom electronic racks capable of concurrently testing 100+ DUTs across power, RF, functional, and environmental domains.
- Develop Python-based automation frameworks using NumPy, pandas, asyncio/SCPI, and Plotly to orchestrate tests and generate decision-grade dashboards.
- Apply statistical techniques (e.g., distribution fitting, hypothesis testing, Cp/Cpk, PCA) to identify and resolve yield issues early in the development cycle.
- Design, simulate, and match antennas for Wi-Fi, BLE, sub-GHz ISM, and cellular bands; validate performance using VNA, spectrum analyzers, and OTA chambers.
- Lead end-to-end regulatory compliance efforts (FCC/ISED/ETSI/CTIA/UL), including test planning, margin analysis, and submission documentation.
- Maintain version-controlled schematics, scripts, SOPs, and torque specifications; ensure documentation reflects real-time changes.
- Adapt fixture and RF designs mid-cycle in response to evolving product requirements without impacting delivery timelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in hardware development, test automation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools, SolidWorks, and Python-based data analysis.
- Strong understanding of RF principles and hands-on experience with lab instrumentation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
