- Embark on site visits to collect detailed as-built mechanical and electrical data, creating comprehensive documentation that guides design, manufacturing, and installation.
- Play a key role in advancing sales processes by providing expert field application support, installations instructions, and assisting in selecting top-tier subcontractors for modernization projects.
- Analyze spatial configurations to optimize the integration of new components, identifying potential obstacles and ensuring flawless system upgrades.
- Champion safety by identifying and addressing OSHA compliance issues, enhancing operational standards during crane upgrades.
- Strategically assess facilities to devise efficient equipment removal and installation methods, adapting to unique environmental conditions.
- Collaborate closely with Design and Sales Engineers, ensuring thorough preparation for site visits and comprehensive data collection.
- Critically review contract documents and sales proposals, offering insights to optimize project scope and client satisfaction.
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on technical expertise in crane installation, modernization, and the overhead crane industry.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Proven leadership abilities, strong customer focus, and exceptional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and advanced PC applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work at heights.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Unwavering commitment to safety, ensuring best practices in all operations.
- Proficiency in French will be considered an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent industry experience in designing and implementing innovative solutions for process equipment.
