Working here is fast-paced, non-stop, and a little unpredictable—and we love it.Your area of focus.The Regional Technical Operations Manager provides leadership, mentorship, and training across multiple departments, including Estimating/Repair Planning, Production, and Parts. This role ensures operational excellence, adherence to OEM repair standards, and the implementation of lean methodologies.What drives your day-to-day?Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leadership & Mentorship
  • Act as a coach and mentor for Estimators, Repair Planners, Production Managers, and Parts staff.
  • Provide continuous training and support to improve departmental performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
Estimating & Technical Standards
  • Ensure accurate vehicle damage assessments using Mitchell and Qapter software.
  • Oversee research and application of OEM repair procedures for safe, compliant repairs.
  • Guide teams in the use of scanning technologies to identify structural, electronic, and safety-related repair needs.
Parts & Production Oversight
  • Supervise parts ordering, mirror matching, and inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor production flow, ensuring efficiency and adherence to repair timelines.
  • Resolve bottlenecks by applying lean, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Operational Excellence
  • Establish best practices across departments for workflow, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-departmental problem-solving to address recurring challenges.
  • Align daily operations with financial and quality objectives, including gross margin and customer satisfaction. - Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with Regional and Facility Managers to align estimating, production, and parts functions with broader company goals.
  • Provide reporting on operational performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
What are the must-haves…
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Collision Centre Estimator, Production Manager or Manager role.
  • Ability to be professional and deliver exceptional service to clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision makers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, perform a variety of tasks and meet required deadlines and targets
  • A person who is a team player, of high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honors their commitments
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful
  • Excellent skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Highly skilled in standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
