Its core practice includes real estate, estate planning and administration, litigation, and business law, and it is known for delivering reassuring, common-sense legal advice in a welcoming, approachable environment.The OpportunityThis is a leadership-oriented role for a lawyer who enjoys both excellent file work and practice-building. You will have a meaningful voice in shaping and growing the firm’s general solicitor services, supported by an established platform, strong administrative support, and a collaborative team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide senior-level legal advice across a broad solicitor practiceIndependently manage complex files from intake through completionDraft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements and legal documentsAdvise owner-managed businesses on corporate/commercial matters (as needed)Work closely with colleagues across existing practice areas to deliver integrated solutionsSupport the development and growth of the expanding practice area (mentoring, process-building, client development)Required QualificationsMember in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia10+ years of post-call experience with strong general solicitor capabilitiesDemonstrated strength in one or more of: commercial/corporate, real estate, wills & estates, general solicitor work
