- Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure proper and safe operating condition at the job site.
- Perform mechanical repairs on all equipment in a timely manner working out of our shop, as well as in the field as required.
- Work with Service Manager to prioritize and review repair orders to meet field demands.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot fuel-electrical-hydraulic-engine mechanical-power drive-and specialty systems.
- Diagnose any faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of the repair that is required.
- Collaborate with the service team to improve operations, streamline work processes, and help create a positive environment to provide quality service.
- Perform equipment repairs and service on site when necessary.
- Keep detailed service reports and repair documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area for yourself and your team.
- Promote and carry out Wilco Safety Procedures and Documentation.
- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician.
- On Road Certification is required.
- 3-5 years HET experience, preferred.
- Experience with fleet vehicles considered an asset.
- CVIP certification, or the ability to obtain.
- Good with computers, smart devices and adaptive to new work order program.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must have the tools required to repair light trucks.
- Rotating Shift Schedule with Overtime.
- Able to work Saturdays during the busy season, most long weekends off.
