Programs and projects include High-voltage Transmission, Distribution, and Power Generation sectors.Candidates should have at least 5 plus years of experience managing complex programs and/or projects within Program Management, Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, EPCM, and/or EPC type contracts. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, grow your career, and help define the next chapter of major programs across North America.This position can be located out of any of Stantec's North American offices, with a remote option for candidates not located near a Stantec office.What happens next:Apply now by attaching your CV and we’ll be in touch within two to three weeks to guide you through the next steps.Your Key Responsibilities:Develop & execute overall Program Management PlansDevelop & execute overall Program Governance plansDevelop & execute Program Communication PlansOversee all regulatory and integration aspectsOversee all permitting and environmental aspectsOversee the engineering phase of all program components alongside the Engineering ManagerOversee the procurement requirements of the program alongside the Procurement ManagerOversee and manage all Project Services including but not limited to project controls & scheduling, cost management, risk management, and document managementOversee all construction requirements of programs alongside the Construction ManagerIntegrate all disciplines and departments of programs to develop a collaborative cultureDevelop strong relationships with the client to ensure communication is provided to all program team membersPresent multiple reports to the client and Stantec management throughout the life cycle programsIntegrate with all external project stakeholders as required including but not limited to government, utility providers, and the publicDrive the successful delivery of all aspects of programs ranging from $100M+ to multi billion dollarsYour Capabilities & ExperienceExperience as a Project Director, Program Manager and/or Project Manager in Power Delivery and/or Power Generation sectorsExceptional leadership and communication skillsExceptional organization and program strategy skillsExperience in overseeing the engineering portion of similar type projectsExperience in overseeing the procurement portion of similar type projectsExperience in managing all project services of similar type projects (i.e. project controls & scheduling, cost management, risk management, and document control)Experience in highly fast paced environments and bringing multiple departments and personnel together to develop a collaborative and integrative team cultureUnderstanding cash flow projections and aligning monthly expenditures to meet budget requirementsExecuting presentations for large amounts of stakeholders including clients, personnel, management, public, etc.Education and CredentialsMinimum of 5 years of Program Management type experienceProgram and/or Project Management Professional (PgMP/PMP) or certification is considered an assetBachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Project Management from an accredited institution is considered an assetCertified Scrum Master is considered an assetPMI Risk Management Professional or similar is considered an assetLocationPrograms and Projects can be across North America or in specific locationsThis position can be located out of any of Stantec's North American offices, with a remote option for candidates not located near a Stantec office.Pay Range:
  • Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$147,600.00 - $221,300.00 Annually
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
