About the Opportunity
  • Maintenance of Vendor files
  • Coding Control Slips for A/P Entry
  • Entering A/P into the AS400 Operating System
  • Reconciliation and entry of Expense Reports
  • Performing cheque runs on a periodic basis
  • Preparing and entry of manual cheques
  • Reconciliation of the A/P sub-ledger
  • Reconciliation of Prepaid , Asset and other accounts during the month end process
  • Other tasks as requested by the Assistant Controller
Daily
  • Processing incoming invoices/credits from verification, matching , entry and payments
  • Monitoring credit cards balances
  • Providing banking transactions for AR reconciliation
By-weekly
  • Payments to vendors-cheques/EFT files/wires
  • Payments to employees
Monthly
  • Foreign payments
  • IC accounts reconciliation
  • IC payments
  • Monitoring and reconciling inventory in transit account
When required
  • Payments on credit card accounts
  • Manual payments to customers ( cheques, EFTs, wires)
  • Setting up and maintenance of master data for new accounts
About You
  • Experience in Accounts Payable with some Accounting background
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with SAP and VIM
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Pay Range:
