- Work with the Director of Product Management to understand how eDiscovery offerings contribute to the overall LegalTech strategy, and drive the strategy and roadmap for the eDiscovery product in realizing the LegalTech vision.
- Bring extensive eDiscovery knowledge and expertise, applying this expertise to create the best eDiscovery products in the industry.
- Collect and receive input on product direction from all sources (customers, sales, executives, employees, marketplace, publications) and distill that information into a coherent and well-defined product vision and roadmap.
- Engage directly with law firms, corporate legal departments, and litigation support professionals to deeply understand workflow pain points, validate product direction, and represent the voice of the customer in product decisions.
- Participate in the creation of go-to-market strategies and assist with carrying out product launches, including pricing, positioning, forecasting, competitive market research and analysis, and sales and technical enablement.
- Define and own product KPIs — including adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction metrics — using data to drive investment priorities and demonstrate business outcomes.
- Work closely with Product Owners to translate business requirements into engineering stories that can be reliably delivered.
- Manage the product integration and partner ecosystem strategy, including relationships with complementary platforms, data connectors, and cloud hosting partners relevant to the eDiscovery market.
- Evaluate product lifecycle health across the portfolio, making recommendations on feature investment, consolidation, migration, or end-of-life for components that no longer align with strategic direction.
- Integrate and drive cross-functional teams, ensuring exceptional results through collaboration and navigation.
- Develop effective solutions for broad projects, evaluating variable factors in-depth and adapting complex techniques.
- Make critical decisions as a project team leader, foster valuable networks with external contacts, and provide guidance on complex matters within your expertise.
- eDiscovery Knowledge and Experience: A strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and its implementation in the market. Practical experience implementing EDRM via technology is highly desirable.
- Generative AI Expertise: GenAI and LLMs are changing the way eDiscovery solves customer problems, a successful candidate will be familiar with GenAI and able to build requirements for using this technology to solve problems in the EDRM space.
- Market Analysis: Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the Information Management industry.
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making and product optimization.
- Technical Knowledge: 6+ years of product management experience with demonstrated depth in eDiscovery, legal technology, or a closely adjacent enterprise software domain.
- Legal & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with legal workflows, litigation processes, and regulatory compliance requirements that shape eDiscovery technology adoption and buyer decisions.
- Project Management: Competency in project management tools and techniques to plan, execute, and monitor product development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- UX/UI Design: Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles to create products that provide exceptional user experiences and meet design standards.
- International Collaboration: Willing to work in an international environment involving multiple time zones.
