Provide design support for structural projects, focused primarily on bridges, and retaining walls, but also potentially the opportunity to work on the design of marine structures.
Communicate and work in an integrated team environment to ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained.
Provide structural inspections and/or construction supervision for structural engineering projects.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in structural engineering.
5-10 years of bridge design and analysis experience.
Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing in BC, or eligibility for registration.
Demonstrated experience applying local and relevant design codes and practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong initiative, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
What Can We Offer You?The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
