Join us!Job DescriptionThe Reconciliation team completes daily reconciliation of Global Bulk Payment and Wholesale Banknote Nostro accounts including funding of a sub set of accounts along with Visa integrated virtual account reconciliation. Conduct outreach to nostro accounts held globally for investigations related to debits/credits on the account for additional information, as required. Prepare GL entries, as required. Support Wholesale Banknote daily funding analysis reports. Position supports any ad hoc requests related to the accounts and monitoring of aging per GRG policies and procedures.Reconcile Canada Branch Nostro accounts, aging transactions, certification of account balances, preparing swift messages, funding reports, and preparing daily/monthly reports including ahoc requests. This job is responsible for analyzing the day-to-day issues, researching, and providing resolution for various issues identified within a business unit. Key responsibilities include building new procedures, completing complex non-routine analytics, creating reports, and reviewing exception testing and processing. Job expectations include supporting continuous improvement of processes by identifying trends and understanding the operations environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and investigate the daily GFX variances and balancing reportsHandle the daily bank account reconciliationEnsure assigned online support cases are completedInvestigate and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner, adhering to policies and proceduresCertify accounts on Frontier monthlyPrepare monthly Revenue Payback and FATCA remittanceEnsure quality service and effective and efficient operations support for internal business partners and external customersPrioritize daily tasks to ensure deadlines and deliverables are metIdentify and implement process improvementsProvide support to other departments and traders on reconciliation-related inquiriesSupports the manager in documentation, implementation and mentoring of new processRepresenting department manager on meetings & projects during absencesAct as a back up during team member's absencePerform audit walkthroughs and gathering of data and/or documents to support audit requests (internal/external)Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsPost-secondary education or equivalent experience
5 yearsDeep understanding of payment systems, including wires, ACH, and related settlement and clearing processesProven experience with complex reconciliations, including investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution of aged breaksStrong working knowledge of payment platforms (e.g., SWIFT, core banking systems) and downstream impacts across operationsDemonstrated ability to operate within a controlled environment, with familiarity in audit, risk, and regulatory expectationsAdvanced analytical capability, with experience leveraging data to identify trends, systemic issues, and process gapsTrack record of driving process improvements and implementing sustainable solutions to reduce manual intervention and riskAbility to independently manage priorities, provide clear direction, and escalate issues with sound judgmentExperience supporting or leading initiatives, projects, or cross-functional efforts within operationsDesired QualificationsExperience in bank account reconciliationExperience with AS400/Global Bulk system an assetAccounting background not required but would be considered an assetSolid computer skills including Excel and strong analytical skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision; team playerAbility to meet established deadlines in a fast paced environmentCommitment to teamworkDemonstrated working knowledge of processes and proceduresExcellent organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAvailability to work shifts and statutory holidays if requiredWhat Bank of America OffersBank of America embodies a culture that extends from how we think, to how we behave, and to how we measure performance.
