AccountantAbout the jobWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant (U.S.) to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure a timely, accurate U.S. GAAP month-end close. This role will work across general ledger, AP/AR, reporting, audits, and tax compliance, while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.What you’ll doSupport the month-end close process, including journal entries (accruals, prepaids/deferrals), balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis, and close checklistsMaintain the general ledger and assist with U.S. GAAP financial statementsSupport management reporting and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&AAssist with AP/AR operations, including:3-way match and invoice codingPayment runs and cash applicationCollections and customer billingVendor onboarding (W-9)Support revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), and fixed assets (capitalization, depreciation, roll-forwards)Assist with tax and compliance activities:Multi-state sales & use tax filingsPayroll tax packages (941, 940, state/local)Year-end 1099-NEC / 1096Help document and strengthen internal controls (SOX-lite), policies, and PBC listsSupport internal and external auditsContribute to process improvements, automation, and standardization within ERP systems and spreadsheetsWhat we’re looking forBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance2–5+ years of hands-on U.S. accounting experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with familiarity in ASC 606 and ASC 842Experience working with an ERP system (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks Online)Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)Understanding of multi-state sales/use tax and basic payroll tax conceptsStrong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlinesClear written and verbal communication skillsHQ Platinum nace como una división de Human Quality enfocada en el servicio de headhunting, creada para conectar personal de altos niveles en posiciones específicas solicitadas por nuestros clientes.
