The Exercise Physiologist will be responsible for conducting clinical testing, providing consultations, and delivering personalized fitness assessments for Life Plus and corporate health clients. They will collaborate closely with other clinic staff, physicians, and administrators to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care.What you'll doWork with varied allied health clinicians including dietitians, nurses, doctors, nurse practitioners and the lab team to provide an excellent client experienceConfer professionally with medical personnel regarding abnormalities and resultsConduct personalized fitness evaluations, rehabilitation consultations and personal training sessionsAdhere to protocols for personalized kinesiology evaluations of musculoskeletal, strength testing and aerobic testingConduct various aerobic fitness test protocols (V02max, Bruce, Gerkins, modified Bruce, etc)Provide 1 on 1 and group training services and personalized exercise programsProvide clients with advice and recommendations according to assessment resultsPerform other testing and clinic-related tasks as required including ordering of medical suppliesAbide by cleaning and sanitation protocols for medical equipment, gym equipmentWhat you bringEducation:Completed Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics, Exercise Sciences or KinesiologyMaster's degree in Kinesiology considered an assetRegistration with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology as an Exercise PhysiologistCPR/First Aid AED CertificationExperience:Experience in lifestyle counseling and ongoing client managementExcellent command of the English language, both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize and make decisions affecting patient careAbility to work independently, with minimum supervision, while delivering highest level of patient careSelf-starter who demonstrates attention to detail, a high level of accountability and sound judgmentExperience and interest in preventative health and education with desire for growthFlexible and able to work effectively in a team environmentWork well under pressure and demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing time sensitive tasksExperience with electronic health charting considered an asset#LI-OnsiteSalary Range: $26-$48Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 0%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location.
