- Lead the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize project performance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress and performance, conducting regular site visits to address issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, budget tracking, and risk assessments, to stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
- Oversee contract negotiations, change orders, and project documentation to ensure all aspects are managed effectively.
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, particularly with large-scale projects.
- Proven experience managing between 2 to 3 full-cycle new build institutional projects valued between $15M and $80M.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations in Ontario.
- PMP, LEED, or Gold Seal certifications are considered assets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
