- Experience tight timelines gathering end user requirements and documenting in DevOPS user stories with acceptance criterion and logic details
- Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for developers to develop those user stories
- Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent follow-up
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
- Experience with Salesforce, DevOps, Microsoft tools including Visio and Project and Miro boards
- Experience and knowledge of the Ontario Digital Service Standard, Ontario Service Design Playbook and the Digital First Assessment product delivery approach (Pre-Discovery, Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live)
- Knowledge and understanding of digital product development, implementation and management
- Experience in Agile, SCRUM. Lean and DevOps methodologies
- Experience in the development of epics, features, and user stories
- Experience in the development and management of product backlogs
- Experience conducting JAD session
- Knowledge transfer is expected to occur through the duration of the assignment through regular meetings, touchpoints, and working sessions with LRC staff
- All design, development and artefacts, including all relevant and complete documents must be transferred to the ministry in the designated repositories provided
- Dedicated knowledge transfer sessions will be scheduled during the close-out phase of the project to ensure completeness of knowledge transfer and all documentation is shared, and allow LRC staff to ask clarification and/or follow up questions.
- 8+ years experience in business analysis
- Demonstrated experience supporting development and implementation of large systems utilizing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
- Demonstrated experience leading and conducting business analysis
- Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD sessions to gather and assess business needs
- Demonstrated experience analyzing business requirements and creating Business Requirements Document, other Business requirements artefacts
- Working knowledge of system concepts and development methodologies to support business applications
- Demonstrated experience in project co-ordination and project management activities
- Demonstrated experience developing epics, features and user stories for implementation in Salesforce ideally Public Sector Solutions
- Demonstrated experience using DevOps to capture requirements as Epics, Features and User Stories
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft tools including Office, Visio and Project
- Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD sessions and using Miro Boards or other Whiteboard tools
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and migration, including mapping between source and target systems, analysis of data fields required to migrate data, exchange data or to provide a data feed between internal systems and third-party applications
- Demonstrated experience in producing quality analysis of data sets and outputs such as detailed data maps, data dictionary, business rules, process maps, mapping rules, functional specifications, interface specifications, conceptual/logical data models, use cases, test cases etc.
- Hands on experience in various project and product delivery methodologies such as:
- Agile/Scrum
- Waterfall
- Iterative Agile
- Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of project utilizing an iterative product delivery approach
- Experience developing and managing product backlogs
- Through understanding of SDLC
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Experience reporting progress on deliverables to team, project leads and management, including proactively raising risks/issues with mitigations
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business stakeholders on functional design issues and detailed solution design sessions, negotiating on issues for production
- Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations
- Experience with Salesforce, DevOps, Microsoft tools including Visio and Project and Miro boards
