  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Management Information Systems, Business Administration and other related fields, with 7-9 years of work experience.
  • Experience in the financial services or consumer data industries, specifically credit data solutions, is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and Linux command line tools; a plus if you have experience with any combination of Tableau, Ab Initio, Python and R
  • Experience with Big Data technologies including Apache Hadoop, Spark and Hive
  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud native data processing tools like Redshift, EMR and Snowflake is a plus
  • Relevant experience working with big data, data management, and data performance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong scenario analysis, tactical evaluation, and analytical and problem solving skills leading to practical business application and ability to work in an agile environment
  • Proven leadership abilities and project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate analytical and statistical concepts and results for presentation at senior leadership level
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives to completion

Data quality and sound data architecture/management continues to be a crucial piece of TransUnion’s mission to deliver ‘Information for Good’ to consumers and customers. We prize agility, customer service, continuous improvement, inclusion, and a passion for data quality.The Data Performance team is part of TransUnion’s Global Data Asset Management organization and our key objectives are continuous improvement of the database and equipping internal areas and external customers with insights needed to gain maximum value from our core asset, credit data.
