Community Director:Are you passionate about seeing youth engaged in healthy community, experiencing meaning and purpose in the present, and looking forward to a future filled with hope and overflowing with possibility? Are you dedicated to helping others serve and support youth in their community? If so, we want to talk with you! We are currently seeking to fill a number of Ministry Director vacancies in communities across Central Ontario and Muskoka.Key Requirements:
  • Pursuing a vital spiritual life as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ
  • A faithful and contributing member of a local church
  • Possessing a creative, entrepreneurial, and context-sensitive approach to ministry (this is our “secret sauce”!)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills (also a key ingredient to the “sauce”! )
  • Willing and able to work evenings and weekends for programs or events
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within teams
  • The flexibility to work evenings and weekends for designated programs or events
  • Strong computer, organizational, time management, and administrative skills
  • Experience in supervision, fundraising and community outreach
  • 7-12 years of experience

  • Focuses on existing & developing partnerships with churches, community agencies, & schools
  • Identifying, inspiring & engaging volunteers
  • Direct ministry to youth
  • Supervision of a staff team
  • Program management
  • Operational & personal funding
This is a full time position (40 hours/week). The starting salary range for this staff position is $44,000 to $48,000. It is determined on a scale based on education and experience (7-12 years). It is 100% funded on a missionary basis—requiring the successful applicant to develop a network of ministry partners for funding and support purposes.
