- Performs and support audits and reviews with quality data according to existing procedures. Documents results in required format.
- Support processes and procedures for Inventory Control Team.
- Partner with branches and other areas of the business to resolve inventory issues and collect data.
- Insert/Update UOM, case and pallet data.
- Perform inventory reconciliations, formalizing findings in proper systems and reporting to finance in a monthly basis.
- Work with internal and external auditors and provide data, as necessary.
- Develop and recommend improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
- Works with DC management to ensure re-slotting is conducted to optimize product flow through the DC.
- Maintain inventory balance and process discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Investigate and adjust accordingly any item that is moved to the PRB (Problem) and Cancelled shipments area.
- Collaborate closely with Receiving and Shipping Teams for quick resolutions.
- Receive unwanted product from the customer.
- Returns and claims processing systematically for inventory integrity.
- Research and support potential inventory quality concerns at the MDC, working with Management to quarantine, rework, release or return to vendor.
- Accurately count product and materials and record totals using an RF scan gun or other tools and equipment required.
- Accurately conduct cycle counts, and location accuracy.
- Interacts with the team to ensure accountability for quality and accuracy measurements.
- Assist the inbound receiving and/or outbound shipping team as needed.
- Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
- Actively participates and engages with associates on the operational floor to solicit concerns or answer questions.
- Support Process improvement/LEAN activities in the DC.
- Represent the company in a professional manner.

- Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives.
- Work flex hours and overtime as needed.
- 3+ years in an inventory control and/or distribution center operations.
- Knowledge of two-side adjustments; ability to create, use and analyze output of data.
- Excellent with problem solving and resolution
- Experience in returns and/or claims processing
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required, knowledge of Highjump is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
- Possess communication skills including active listening, written documentation, and verbal instruction.
- Proficiency using a variety of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook & Access
- Ability to have CSA approved / green patch safety boots for the first day.
- Must be able to work in other areas of the DC as business dictates to support receiving PRB and returns processing.
