- Work directly with supervisor
- Act as fire/spark watch as required
- Ensure safety hazards and environmental risks are identified and controlled through Prolium's established programs and site-specific safety plans
- Identify and assist with prioritizing site safety conditions and recommend solutions for continuous improvement
- Complete site safety documentation daily
- Directly assist the site personnel to implement and complete tasks by ensuring worker involvement in all activities such as hazard assessments, development of procedures, use of hazard ID cards, etc
- Participate in pre-mobilization meetings to ensure field implementation of site-specific work plans
- Attend and participate at joint contractor safety meetings
- Ensure operations group maintains and retains project related safety records
- Act as confined space attendant
- Perform other duties as directed by site supervisor
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Standard First Aid
- CSA Steel toed boots required. All other PPE is provided.
- Fall Protection is an asset
- Valid Drivers License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (including word, excel, outlook, etc.) & OneDrive
- Punctual attendance is a requirement
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Comply with all safety requirements
- Must provide proof of completion of all required safety certifications
- Bring a positive, ‘can-do’, ‘safety first’ attitude every day
- Participate with the team to build and maintain a productive and safe work environment.
