As we prepare to deliver an unforgettable global event, we are expanding our team and seeking a Project Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution across this landmark tournament.A Project Coordinator – FIFA World Cup, acts as an operational bridge between the project manager, clients, partners and internal teams to ensure the project is delivered on time and up to the standards required. Unlike a project manager who develops the overall strategy and bird's-eye view, the coordinator focuses on the day-to-day implementation and administrative details.Essential Responsibilities:
  • Maintains and updates critical files, including project plans, meeting minutes, contracts, and progress reports.
  • Monitors project timelines and deadlines, individual task completion, highlighting any risks or dependencies that might cause delays.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact, facilitating clear information flow between departments, clients, and vendors.
  • Schedules and facilitates meetings, prepares agendas, and ensures action items are followed up on.
  • Assists with budget monitoring, tracking expenditures, processing invoices, and ensuring the team has necessary supplies.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize a high workload and manage multiple overlapping deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written skills for reporting progress and negotiating with vendors.
  • Identifying challenges early and developing practical solutions to prevent project stalls.
  • Mastery of project management tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or Jira, as well as the MS Office Suite.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a field related to the f&b industry is standard.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in administrative support or junior project coordination.
Other Requirements:
  • Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
  • Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
