*Provide technical expertise during complex sales cycles, supporting strategic opportunities.
*Recruit, onboard, and retain top Solution Consulting talent, fostering a high-performance team culture.
*Champion innovation by identifying new ways to deliver compelling technical engagements.Team leadership and development:*Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Consultants.
*Conduct regular coaching sessions to enhance SC effectiveness in technical engagements.
*Establish and refine best practices for discovery calls, demos, proof-of-value sessions, and competitive differentiation.
*Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment that encourages learning and development.Sales strategy and performance:*Partner with Sales leadership to support and enable new customer acquisition.
*Have an appetite to deeply understand Sage's solutions to help team members propose differentiators.
*Prepare pre- and post-demo content that SCs can share with prospects.Customer engagement:*Align pre-sales strategies with sales priorities, ensuring strong technical validation in deals.
*Partner with Sales leadership to define and optimize technical win strategies for key segments.
*Drive adoption of best-in-class solution selling methodologies to improve pipeline conversion rates.
*Analyze SC engagement impact and refine pre-sales approaches based on data-driven insights.
*Oversee and guide SC participation in discovery calls, ensuring deep technical understanding of customer needs.
*Ensure high-quality product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and workshops to showcase the value of Sage solutions.
*Support strategic, high-value deals by engaging with executive-level customers and providing technical thought leadership.
*Monitor customer feedback and insights to refine SC strategies and enhance solution messaging.Transformation and innovation:*Stay abreast of industry trends to identify opportunities to scale the solution design function through automation and customer self-service tools.
*Conduct monthly training sessions on additional modules and Marketplace Partners to increase deal size and complete product offering.Work cross-functionally:*Act as a bridge between Sales, Product, and Marketing to ensure strong collaboration.
*Provide field insights to the Product team, influencing roadmap priorities and feature development.
*Partner with Marketing and Enablement to refine technical positioning, content, and messaging for campaigns.
*Align with In-Life, Channel, and Professional Services teams to ensure smooth post-sale transitions.Plenty of perks:
