Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the smooth operation of accounting processes.   • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure financial records are complete and error-free.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients while maintaining organized billing records.
  • Assist with data entry tasks to support the maintenance of accurate financial databases.
  • Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to manage financial activities.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting workflows.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support administrative tasks related to the accounting department as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for accounting tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field is an asset.
