Description :Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician - Underground Mining Equipment to go directly to customer mine sites in the Timmins region and provide superior service and product expertise to maintain high standards that ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner with the utmost integrity.**Must be living within drivable proximity to Timmins as there is no accommodation provided**As a Toromont Cat Field Service Technician, YOU will experience:

In a typical day, YOU will:
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to get the job done right and on time.

  • Diagnose, maintain and repair underground mobile equipment
  • Maintain excellent communication and trusted customer relationships through regular on site visits
Must-haves for this role:
  • Post Secondary education in a field related to heavy equipment mechanics, truck and coach mechanics, diesel engine mechanics or a related mechanical field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as a technician in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment or mining equipment
  • Valid 421A license (strong asset)
  • A valid Driver’s License (DZ License preferred)
  • Availability for local mining shift patterns
